HEATER CONTROL PANEL
Removal & Installation
1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect connector for cigarette lighter.
Using a screwdriver, pry loose two clips and remove front console cover.
2. Pull out ashtray and remove trim panel attaching screws. Remove center fascia panel. Remove heater control panel. Disconnect electrical connections and cable clips. Remove cables from control panel. Disconnect vacuum connector from rotary knob control panels.
3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust temperature control cable.
DASH PAD
Removal & Installation
1. Disable air bag system. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove steering wheel and steering column upper and lower shrouds. Remove multifunction switch. Remove cluster fascia panel. Remove instrument cluster and disconnect
connectors.
2. Remove hood release handle screws. Remove side fascia panel and disconnect mirror controls (if equipped). Remove cassette player and radio. Remove lower center fascia assembly. Remove driver's side lower crash pad.
3. Remove left side lower instrument panel. Remove right side main lower crash
pad. Remove glove box. Remove heater control panel. Remove right and left
front speaker grilles. Remove dash pad. To install, reverse removal procedure.
