Brakes problem
2009 Hyundai Tuscon 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 2000 k miles

I have just purchased a V6 Tuscon with Electronic Stability Control and 4 wheel drive on demand.
This is a new vehicle with just 2 500 k.

I notice that when I brake the engine races or surges before the car comes to a stop. This happens sporadically? not all of the time.

Can this problem be related to the ESC?

It sounds like a throttle position sensor. Has the check engine light come on?
