In the process of looking for a car, I had my mechanic look at a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon. It looked as if there might be a problem with a leaking head gasket, but they couldn't be sure without taking it apart. I am looking at another Tuscon - 2005 and wanted to know if there are problems with the Hyundai engines and the head gaskets. Would it be foolish to purchase a Hyundai Tucson if another one, in that range of years, had the problem?

Thank you.

There isn't a common problem that I am aware of. I don't see why it should be a concern.
