clutch seems like it has lagging when I accelerate?

My clutch seems like it has lagging when I accelerate. When I first drive the car after it's been sitting for a while and it's cooler outside the lagging is less severe. As the vehicle warms up and I drive longer the clutch seems like it slips and the vehicle over revs and doesn't accelerate quickly. I'm sure the clutch is going but do u think it's a belt of some sort that expands when it warms up which makes it slip. I would like to know if I need to replace the whole system or part of it? Hello,

It sounds like the clutch has worn and when it heats up it slips more (which is typical of a worn clutch).
When a clutch is worn, under load it will slip and the engine will rev almost freely without any forward acceleration.
It is recommended to change the clutch disk, pressure plate, release bearing all at the same time.
You also want to get the fly wheel resurfaced to remove any imperfection. This will increase the life of the clutch. The flywheel can be resurfaced in most auto parts store as they typically have equipment to perform the service.
