1997 Hyundai Tiburon brake lights

The brake lights will not turn off. I have pulled on the brake to try and make sure it was all the way up and it was, it wont pull up any further. I have pulled out the fuze to the brakes to keep it from dying. what would make the lights stay on and how to fix t?

The brake light switch is located on the top of the brake pedal. Make sure it is secure, properly adjusted and not disconected.
