The wiper was frozen to the windshield when they were turned on. Unstuck the wiper and turned them back on but the wipers were out of sync and actually "crashed" in to each other. Now the driver's side wiper will not work correctly. Do we have to replace the whole arm? If so, how?

The wiper arm is attached to the wiper spindle via a nut. Remove the cover, and loosen this nut. Reposition the wiper arm to where it is supposed to be, and tighten the nut.
