2005 Hyundai Sonata defroster noises

2005 HYUNDAI SONATA

when i turn on my heater it runs and sounds fine but as soon as i press the defroster button it start making a really wierd noise from the passenger side. if i press any other blower selection the noise stops. The blower works really well on any selection. ????????????????

Could you please describe the noise a little bit? Ticking, grinding, hissing etc.. This will be very helpful in diagnosing the problem. Thank you.
