2004 Hyundai Sonata idling

My 2004 sonata hesitates when I accelerate and idles when I'm stopped ata light. I checked the oil and it is fine.

Is the Check Engine Light showing?
What has been done to diagnose/rectify this problem?
Anything done prior to it happening?
Were the spark plugs checked?

No the check engine light is not on and the spark plugs have not been checked nor have they been changed in about 50k miles. The only thing done recently was an oil change and air filter replacement at 112k. Thanks Andy

Hi Andy,

Problem could possibly be due to misfiring of spark plugs and I would suggest checking their conditions.
