Transmission problem
2001 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently took my car in for repairs and the mechanic said to replace the transmission range switch, so I got a second opinion and this time I was told to change the neutral safety switch for the same problem on my vehicle. My question is, are the two switches the same part?
