My battery is continuosly drained having me to get a jump. I put in a new battery and it started right up but the battery was drained again. I tried checking the alternator by removing one of the battery cables and the car did not cut off. What could cause this problem?

could be a few things, but I have an easy way you can check for a parasitic draw. I will send it to you after this post
