2000 Hyundai Sonata Check Engine Light

I took my car to a local auto mechanic because the check engine light kept coming on and going off. They stated that their machines could not read the errors code and that I would have to take it to the dealership. Our their local mechanics who can fix this? The mechanic stated it was the transmission and speed sensor.

Hi there,

You will have do do a bit of am ring around on the phone, most high quality scanners will be able to read your car, if you believe that It is a transmission problem, check out the trans specialists first.
