You cannot just cut and join the pipe it's not as easy as that. Firstly you will require to form double flared ends fit a joiner and this will be quite difficult in place under the car, the quickest and safest option is to get a complete pip assembly, one from the wreckers will be ok as long as it is not rusty or kinked. fit and re bleed and you will have brakes that are safe again.
