I have a 1999 Hyundai Sonata. I just bought it. used to get around. I test drove it and it was sound. The guy just did the brakes and replaced the passenger side brake light before I bought it. Every thing was fine I thought and then somebody told me that my break lights were staying on while I was driving. I checked it and they only STAY on when my headlights are on. If i depress the break pedal they get a bit brighter but stay on. If my headlights are off, the brake lights work just fine as they are suppossed to. Also noticed today that when I press on the brake, my dash board lights come on at the same time.....this is when the lights are off. I am a girl YES and I dont know anything really about cars but i just bought this car for a litttle over a thousand dollars and it also has power steering issues. the power steeringfluid is full and it wont turn very easily and made a lot of whining noises until it just hardly turns, it has a sound like flushing when i turn the wheel....comming from the pump it seems...help me Please...am i crazy and over analyzing or are these just minor quick fix problems?
