can anyone tell me why my door does not open at all,no matter what i do.i would like to get access so need to remove the door panel,to see if can spot the problem,however i am unsure how to do this as i do not want to cause any unnessary damage by trying to force something that does not move,i have already tried to remove it by what i can see to be a retaining screw which is on the lock itself,but no joy,can someone please help me

Most door panels pop off. Be sure you have any and all screws out, look for decorative plugs hiding them, especially on the arm rest/door pull handle. Then start at the bottom and pop the panel off. Sounds like this migh tbe a bad latch assembly or the such if neither handle will open it. Does the lock work? it may be stopping the handles from working as well
