2007 Hyundai Santa Fe rear lights will not go off

the stop/tail & high-mounted rear stop light will not go off even after the car has been turned off. I am trying to figure out how to get them to turn off.

Find the brake switch follow the brake pedal arm till it meets with the support bracket- disconnect the connector for the switch and see what happens to the light-if it goes off-adjust the switch or replace it.
