Noises problem
2005 Hyundai Santa Fe 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2005 Hyudai Sante Fe, and it is making a air type grinding sound when I step on the brakes. Sometimes when I release the pedal, it stops the noise, and sometimes it continues the noise. Sometimes, the noise stops if I am not mashing on the brakes and I drive over a small bump or hump. It seems to act like something is sticking and not releasing. The brakes seem to work like they always have. Also, I seem to smell a burning smell when I get out of the car. Thanks, Brigitte

Based on your description, it sounds like you need brakes or will need them soon. There are sensors that are desigined to make noise so you know the brakes are about worn out. Have them checked to be sure, and let me know what you find.
