There is a screeching noise when the car is on, driving, sitting still etc. It was dxed as the timing belt and it was replaced but it still makes this noise, only not continously now.

The timing belt would not produce any screeching/squealing noises.

The noise should be from the drive belts and either the tension adjustments are not correct or the pulley harmonic damper is bad.

Recheck the belt tension and adjust as necessary.
