My airbag warning light will not go off, some of my dash lights do not work and the speedometer doesn't register at times. Is this a major problem or am I looking at minor costs?

It is hard to say price and labor without knowing for sure the problem. It sounds to me like a body control module (BCM) is going bad. I would start by having that checked.
