My car steering wheel vibrates and shakes when I hit the brakes. This is sometimes at low speed but mostly at high speed.

Suspect warped rotors or hubs. Need to replace your pads/shoes if it has not been done for a while and get the rotors/hubs inspected and machined/replaced as necessary.
