MY 2002 2.7L AWD Santa Fe vibrates at 38-40 mph only.If I accelerate or manually downshift into 3rd gear ,it ceases.Seems to happen only in 4th,normal shift mode, slight uphill grade.Barely ,or not noticed at all when accelerating quickly, like highway on ramp,or going dowhill.Trans. serviced recently, problem still there.tires fairly new.Steering wheel not shaking. One cool morning, before trans.service, did slip a little when upshifting to 4th normal mode, but hasn't happened since.

Hi mbj,

Thank you for the donation.

Symptoms of such nature are usually caused by drive trains and I would suggest checking the propeller shaft universal joints. A stiff joint would emit vibrations as described.
