The check engine light came on. The first thing I did was to check the oil level. It was very low. I added 3 bottles of oil but the light continued to stay on. What else should i check for? Is there a way to reset something so that the light will go out. Thanks!

You will need to retrieve the trouble codes that are stored before you want to delete them. Do this by either purchasing a diagnostic scanner for your vehicle, or have a local auto part store do it for you. Most will scan it for free of charge. Post the code(s) you retrieve and I will follow up.
