I RECENTLY WENT TO NJ INSPECTION AND FAILED FOR OBM/EMISSIONS.

THE CODES THAT CAME UP WERE P0171 P0135 P0401 AND P0300.

THE CARS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON AND FROM TIME TO TIME THE CAR BUCKS AND LOOSES POWER.

IN NJ I HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC BEFORE GOING BACK TO INSPECTION.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE CODES STAND FOR SO I HAVE SOME IDEA BEFORE GOING

check for a vacuum leaks
check MAF sensor
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
P0135 Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected
P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
