Air Conditioning problem
2001 Hyundai Santa Fe 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 80000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
All of a sudden, while running my air conditioning, my power steering went out. The car seems to run ok with the air off. The car just had an oil change in the last few weeks. It also takes about 20 seconds for the car to click into reverse after it has been running for awhile. It usually will go right into reverse if your are just starting the car up. Any suggestions for these 2 problems???

Hi wrozzell,

There seems to be a problem with the beltings or pulleys causing the power steering to fail.

As to the gears, get the ATF checked for proper level. If it is not the ATF, then the trans might be signalling that it is going out soon.
