replacing antenna hyundai excel 94

The Antenna has been broken in half and pushed inside the panel. Ive bought a new antenna now have a slight delimma! I dont know how to get the old antenna out, without having to pull the panel off. there must be a different way? would appreciate any help.

If your antenna is on the front fender, to gain access to the antenna, the innder fender panel needs to be removed.
