Was driving abou 75mph, car began to lose power as if it was overheating. Car slowly died and I pulled to a stop. Let it cool down and tried turning it over, Sounds as if the starter is spinning not engaging the engine. Towed it home, spark plug wires were mented onto the plugs. Help!!

Sounds like the head is shot from overheating fill the radiator to the top with water then have some one try starting the motor the water is probably going to blow out of the radiator due to a blown head gasket or worse
