During a recent service, the mechanic requested that I change the power steering flui, break oil, and gear oil as I have already done 41k miles. Are these changes required as some inputs read says that you only need to top up.

Hi there,

it is good practice to change all fluids every 2 years on average. Brake fluid attracts moisture and this will affect braking , all oils will break down over a period of time so a flush and re fill is always a good idea at every 2 year interval.
