on my way home from work pulling away from a green light it just quit in the intersection it turns over all lights work fine just doesn't start I checked the timing belt it has a few teeth missing but it seems ok not slipping. I know this needs to be replaced but could this cause my problem? also when I turn the key to the on position and listen should I hear the fuel pump? could it be a fuel problem? Help I have lost a day and a half at work because of this.

Did you hear it? About the belt better do something fast about it could also be the cause-if its an interference engine you asking for big time trouble-major repair. $$$$$$$$

I would worry about the belt than the fuel pump.
