I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra with 67000 miles on it The check engine light is on and the code reads P0441. According to Auto Zone it is the purge flow in the evaporative emission control is incorrect. At AZer's request I waited two weeks since I topped off the gas tank. I have replaced the fuel cap and the light came back on. I am not ready to take it to the dealer yet$$$$$. Is the Evap canister under the drivers side rear qtr panel? There is a funky box with a vent down there. Where can I find the purge or vent solenoid? They have some unique hiding places nowadays.
Is it going to be cheaper to just take it to a shop or replace parts one at a time?
