2000 hyundai engine misses on a full tank but not after 3/4

Hyndai 2000 accent, 5 speed manual, misses on a full tank of fuel but not when it gets under 3/4 of a tank. I've had car since new, had all services and only started this in last two years. Mechanics stumped and I'm frustrated, please help.

check the fuses and relays

check battery and terminals and make sure they are clean and tight. Also check with a volt meter or 12 volt test lamp that power is reaching the soloenoid. If power is present at the stater then the starter probably needs replacing. :D
