1999 Other Hyundai Models Rubing noise from rear of car when

I have rear diff noise but the car is a front wheel drive and doesn't have a diff. It's a sort of grinding noise coming from the rear of the car at low speed, also there is a slight whining sound all the time when driving.

Have the rear brakes and wheel bearings checked. That is all that is back there.
