my old jalopy HYUNDAI excel water pump is leaking from the little hole in it..what does this mean? ALSO, someone said you MUST take off the timing belt to install a new water pump..is this so? The pump is made with a hole so you can tell when you have a bad pump, it will seep water out of a weep hole. Replace the pump and the leak will go away.
