Hi we put a new timing belt on but had trouble with the tensioner. One side on right where bolt goes thru got chewed up, so we ground it down a bit on engine block. Now tensioner seems slightly cocked, and the BELT is walking off the cam shaft TOWARD the engine. What can be done to fix this? PLEASE respond thanks

The problem is the bolt isn't going in straight. You need to have the threads repaired so it will mount straight.
