2008 Hyundai Elantra is it cover by warranty ?

please help me ? while i am changing my xenon lamp which the agent installing it in my car before, the engine was turning on and while im working the wire touched the car body and then the engine turning off and no way to turn on again , no bad fuses or any bad wires , shortly no electrical damages , so i went to a specialest in hyundai rebair and he tould me it is computer unit control problem and it must be changeing .
my question is if that case cover by my car warranty ? and if not is it Available to repair this unit ? and what is the cost price for the new one ? please reply me soon , thanx
notes ; my car is elantra 2008 , 1600 cc , automatic , full options with touch AC , thanx again

What caused it? Did someone short it? If so, then it isn't under warranty and the person who caused the damage is liable for the damage. If it has gone bad due to workmanship, it should be under warranty.
