Alright i just put a new engine (used) in my elantra and at first it started up fine but was shaky. after about a minute or so it shut off. now when i go to start the engine the starter just clicks. The starter is fine, i did check it. Its hard to turn the engine by hand by putting a ratchet and pipe on the crankshaft. I did put oil in the engine when i first started it so i doubt it seized up. What do you think could be the problem?
also the battery is brand new
the starter does try to turn over but cant for some reason. the car was sitting for about 2-3 weeks before i replaced the engine, but i really dont think it stalled because of the fuel

If you remove the spark plugs, can you turn the engine over?
