Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2004 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Automatic 70,000 miles

how difficult is it to replace boots on this model and are splitboots available? I would guess that it's wise to do inner and outer while in there?
any tips are appreciated

Hi there,

There are no split boos that i am aware off, the drive shaft must be removed and dismantled to replace the boots, some can be stretched with a special pneumatic tool, but the best way is to dismantle clean and inspect and re pack with Molly grease.
