2004 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 88.000 miles

my car runs hot while im driving all the water will be out of the radiator i let my car set for a month and the water didnt leak out. The fan clicks on like its suppose to but when it runs hot while im driving then the radiator is empty please help me because i know nothing about car repair

Hi:
If the car overheats, it can blow the coolant out of the system. Have you replaced the thermostat? That is where I would start.
