2002 Hyundai Elantra How do you change the license plate light

I don't know how the get the cover off so that I can change my burnt out license plate lights.

There are two bolt that hold the lens cover on. Remove them and you will gain access to the bulb.

My neighbor came over and showed me how. He used his pocket knife and removed the small panel cover on the inside of the hatch cover. The lightbulbs were then easily accessible.

Everyone seems to be coming up with a different way to access things. Regadless, I'm glad you got it taken care of. WHen you say "Hatch", was it under the hood?
