2001 Hyundai Elantra OBD II computer reading

The OBD reading is P0105 "Manifold ablsolute pressure/barometric pressure circuit malfunction." Could this be as simple as a loose wire on the sensor? Where and how do I verify that the sensor is truely manfunctioning? Is this something that can easily be verified/repaired/replaced or should I let a garage take care of it? Thanks.

Hi crookston,

It could be as simple as a loose wirie or a dislodged or wrongly connected vacumn hose.

Testing this unit is not easy, easiest way is to replace it with a known good one and see if it settles the problem.
