I just replaced the passenger side CV boot on my Elantra (the boot had torn) prior to replacing it no noise was detected, I had to removed the entire assembly cleaned out the inner housing and bearings as well as the outer one, repacked sealed and reinstalled but as I test drove I heard clanking noises comming from the same side (had not noticed before). I noise only happens when I hit small bumps on the road, what do you think could be the problem.

Hi there, this will normally be in the strut, sway bar or strut top mounting plate, just make sure that every thing you undid is still tight, check the sway bar D bushes for wear, start here.
