Engine Performance problem
2001 Hyundai Elantra 4 cyl Manual 130000 miles

had intermintent crank no start when wet outside. ran thru puddle now wont start at all. has spark at coil pack timing belt ok but starter spins slowy. put new plugs and wires on 2 years ago. can you help me? at a loss

Hi jmersier,

If the starter is cranking slowly, it could be due to poor battery cable connections or a weak starter.

If the engine cranks normal and won't start, maybe the crank sensor being low down in the engine might have been flooded and not producing correct signal.
