2000 Hyundai Elantra gas tank

When I am filling the gas tank the hose keeps clicking
that the tank is full. It takes me forever to fill the tank. What is wrong?

Hi kathrn
normally this very annoying prob is caused by either the fill tube hose is kinked. Or the vent for the tank is plugged or the hose for the vent is bent or crushed.

The tank will need to be removed and the vent inspected not a real expensive prob but prob a couple hundred dollar prob
