2000 Hyundai Elantra filter change

i need info on how to go about changing the fluid and filter its starting to drop a gear at about 70 mph and when i take off it seems like its stuck in third or a high gear anyways ive heard tha some of them have screw on filters im about to craw under and see im just praying that this fixes the prob

Hi hunterman,

If it is cartridge screw on type, the filter should be on top of the trans housing. Otherwise you need to remove the oil pan to replace the filter.
