2009 Hyundai Accent Engine light is on...

My hood lever wont open my hood is the another way to open! also my engine light is on constant for the last 2 weeks...how long can i drive it for before taking it in or can i fix it?

Actually, the vehicle is under a bumper to bumper warranty still. Contact a dealer, confirm what I said, and have them repair it. As far a the check engine light, it is most likely a sensor which is under the emissions warranty.
