A/C isn't working. It is hot air. Purchased refill kit. The kit had a guage and it read over 100 lbs. The container said it was dangerous to put more refridgerant in. What is Wrong?

What happens when you set the controls to a/c? Does the compressor start? Does the interior fan come on? What's happening?
