License plate light replacement?

How do I change the liscense plate lights? This is a hatchback Accent.

just remove the tailgate trim and you can reach the lamp to disconnect wiring and replace bulb.

How can you remove the trim? Not easy.

To remove the trim you need to remove the screws that are shown in the diagram attached. More then likely they are just plastic screws so to pop them out you need a trim tool set. I attached a picture of one that are available at any parts store.

Run through this material and let us know what issues you run into and we can go from there.
