I just had something strange happen to me today. My car was off but my rear break lights have been on all day. It drained the battery but the back lights were still on. I removed the positive connection from the battery for over 4 minutes and checked the fuses which looked fine. Is there anything else I should do before jump starting it? When I do jump start it and the lights don't go off again, what should I do?

HI there,

Check the brake light switch is not stuck on or faulty, this is located on the brake pedal under the dash.
