I am trying to figure out how to remove the door panel from a 2003 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl hatch back. My girlfriend got her car keys locked in her car and someone (not me) helped jimmy the lock open. However, in the process something inside the door broke. Now she can't open the door from the inside. She can only open it from the outside. I do a lot of car speaker installations and thought it would be a cinch to get the door panel off the car. I can't figure out how to get the door panel off so that I can inspect the damage behind the panel.
1. How do I get the panel off (especially the window crank on her roll up window?
2. What might be the cause of her being able to open from the inside but not the outside?
