Engine Performance problem
2002 Hyundai Accent 4 cyl Automatic 23000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Occassionally while driving, the car has a mind of its own and will accelerate while accelerator is not depressed. This causes the braking to be difficult, and is also quite scary for me. If I put the car in park, and quickly depress the accelerator, the engine returns to normal. What can this be, and what can I do about it.

I took to the dealership, and they could not duplicate the concern. It happens regularly to me but they couldn't find the problem.
