is this a electrical problem or a cable problem and would this be considered a one day repair?

Hi shiveley9,

If it is cable driven it could be a snapped cable.

It could be an electrical problem and if the cause is the speed sensor, the job should be done within an hour.

If it is other electricals, then it depends.
