My 2001 Hyundai Accent key will not remove from the ignition. It shuts the vehicle off, but continues to have a power drain on the battery. Once the battery is completely drained of power, and the vehicle will not start, only then can the key be removed completely from the ignition.

Any ideas. Jump starting the vehicle all the time is getting old. Thank you.

Suspect faulty ignition switch, causing key to stick unto power is no longer available to the switch (when battery drains).
